Hello [Name],
Spring has a way of making us want to clear things out. We open the windows, we move things around, and we find objects we'd forgotten about and decide, finally, what to do with them.
We've spent the last few emails doing something like that together with your notebook, going through what's working, what isn't, and making a little more room for the important stuff.
But before we close out this round of Bullet Journal® spring cleaning, let's spend a few minutes decluttering your mind.
Your mind has been carrying its own weight: the email you’ve been meaning to send, the conversation you keep replaying, the unfinished idea, or the 2:00 AM worry.
These items aren't always loud enough to demand immediate action, but they are consistently draining the energy you need for everything else.
To help you clear the "mental background noise," we want to share one of our favorite exercises, the Mental Inventory.

For this one, set your notebook aside and grab a separate piece of paper. Divide it into three columns and fill each one as thoroughly as you can.
In the first column, write down everything you're currently doing. Every task, role, and commitment that's actively taking up your time and attention; could be either personal or work-related.
In the second column, write down everything you should be doing. The things that actually really matter to you but haven't been prioritized, the things you keep meaning to get to but haven't quite found the time yet.
In the third column, write down everything you want to do. Your goals, your aspirations, the things that are alive for you right now even if they feel far away.
Take as much time as you need and get as much out of your head and onto the page as you can. If feelings come up as you write, simply note them in your notebook too.
When you're done, just sit with what you've written. You don't need to do anything with it just yet.

Wrapping up our spring cleaning
|
|
The spring flowers remind us that growth usually begins in the places where there's finally enough light and enough room.
We hope this series gave you a little light and made a little room.
We're grateful you spent this time with us. Genuinely. This amazing community is one of the most meaningful things we've ever been part of. You are why we do this.
Thank you for doing this series with us and welcome to spring.
Here in every season with you, The Bullet Journal Team
P.S. If this series felt like something you'd like to have more of, we invite you to check out Bullet Journal® Foundation. The Mental Inventory is actually one of the first things we do together there, and we go much deeper into it, walking you through what to notice and what to do with what you find.
When you join, you'll get instant access to our guided program with group rituals, live calls, and a community of people doing this same work alongside you.
We'd love to see you in there.
