Hi!
Quick skincare truth: cleansers are rinse-off products. They’re only on your skin for about 20–40 seconds before being washed away so they play a different role than leave-on treatments.
Some cleansers do include actives, and they can offer light, surface-level benefits. But for ingredients - like vitamin C, for example - to deliver more noticeable results, they typically need more time on your skin, along with the right formula and concentration.
When we were developing our milky-soft face and body cleanser, we thought carefully about what would be most beneficial in a rinse-off step. Instead of prioritizing a high load of active ingredients, we focused on supporting your skin in the way a cleanser is best suited to.
That meant choosing ingredients like glycerin, ceramides, and other moisture-binding humectants to help cleanse without stripping, support your skin barrier, and leave your skin feeling soft and balanced.
We think of cleansers as the foundation, so we chose to save more targeted actives for leave-on steps like serums and creams, where your skin has more time to benefit from them.
