I cannot believe I’m typing out these words but Asha and I are OFFICIALLY GOING ON TOUR for The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook starting late February!!! We’re travelling to so! many! cities! across the US, with an unbelievable lineup of events and collaborations through the end of March. That is a whole month of getting to share this magical, whirlwind experience with all of you, and I couldn’t be more excited and grateful 🥹🥳
The seed for this cookbook was planted over my many visits to our farm partners over the years, eating simple, seasonal meals with them under the shade of trees or sipping haldi doodh with them at golden hour in the fields. In all honesty, as exciting as this tour is, it’s also absolutely terrifying and nerve-wracking. Behind this shiny announcement is the incredible effort of so many people, across literal continents, who have gotten on a lot of very late (and very early) zoom calls over the past few months. Not to mention, the very wobbly balancing act we’ve had to pull off between our personal and professional lives (partners, parents, siblings, kids!!) to make this a reality. All of this to say, we’re beyond excited, and going into this with all kinds of butterflies fluttering in our tummies.

📖 There will be book talks and signings at some of our fave indie bookstores and a fun cooking demo at our beloved local farmer’s market- the iconic Ferry Building!
