Happy Thanksgiving :) I hope that you’re having the most wholesome day with people you love, over some delicious food and drinks. I didn’t grow up celebrating Thanksgiving, but as a South Asian, the idea of sharing a big feast with the people you love is one that’s very familiar, and very dear to me. After all of the big celebratory meals I ate growing up, everyone was sent back home with dabbas full of leftovers to enjoy the next day so nothing ever went to waste. So, I thought it was only apt to share some of my favorite Thanksgiving leftovers recipes with you today.
Before we get into it though, I want to first say THANK YOU for being a part of our ever-growing, ever-wonderful community. It has, quite frankly, been a hard year for our business (Global tariffs! Scary economic uncertainty! A government shutdown! Forest fires! Skyhigh inflation!), and every time things felt too tangled, too messy, or too daunting, it was this community that gave me the clarity I needed to ground myself in this work yet again. I speak for my entire team (across two continents and multiple cultures!) when I say that seeing our spices on your holiday tables is incredibly heartwarming.
