Hello everyone, ed here again
So Play has been out almost 2 months now. Life post Play has been alot of family time being dad. Ive been back in the studio writing, as always, and doing the odd thing here and there gig wise. We did a fantastic small show with Megan Moroney in New York where we just played deep cuts from our albums back to back with no mic’s. Super fun
Camera has been finding its way in the world which has been lovely seeing everyone creating stuff to it. Me and Kev have gone viral on TikTok with people thinking we are in a relationship. Go viral they said, be careful what you wish for eh.
Symmetry with Karan Aujla came out as well with the Play Remix EP with some fantastic south asian artists I had the honour of working with. Please go check that out. Being able to tour, and create incredible music within the cultures I play shows in is one of the best parts of my job. The place I come from in Suffolk is so different to the places that I find myself making music and playing shows, I love the travelling aspect of it, I learn more and more about different cultures every single day
I also shot a Netflix special called One Shot with Phil Barantini who made that incredible show Adolescence, if you havent seen that show check it out. But we made a one shot concert through the streets of New York, which is by far the best thing ive made in my career. It comes out November 21st and I’m so immensely proud of it. Hope you like it too
Gonna dig into Autumn now, gear up for the holidays, and keep writing in the studio whilst being dad
