🗼 KIYOSUMI SHIRAKAWA: Allpress Espresso
Why: World renowned and artisan-respected, Allpress Espresso has made its mark in the community as one of the highest quality roasters in the coffee industry. While there are two cafes in Japan, the Kiyosumi location is the more engaging of the pair, with roasting equipment on premise, merch for sale and friendly staff for you to experience.

🇺🇸 LOS ANGELES: Community Goods
Why: "Go early to avoid the lines. My breakfast recommendation would be the pistachio toast and breakfast sliders with an iced matcha latte or decaf coffee." *As recommended by Rocky Xu, founder of Rocky's Matcha

🇫🇷 PARIS: Boot Cafe
Why: Unassuming from the exterior, the coffee shop is situated in a former cobbler's workshop. Maintaining the outer aesthetic and the former "cordonnerie" signage, those passing by and unaware of what they are looking for could be led astray. However, the strong smell of freshly brewed coffee is enough to make anyone turn their head and peak into the eight-seat coffee shop for a second look. Due to its sheer size and just one barista, the coffee shop often has a line snaking around the front, many still stopping by for a to-go order. Never rowdy or loud, it is the perfect stop for a masterfully poured coffee and even a killer hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers.
Where: 19 Rue du Pont aux Choux, 75003 Paris, France

From expertly brewed pour-overs to rich and creamy lattes, Homecoming takes pride in sourcing its beans from sustainable and ethically responsible suppliers, ensuring a delicious and conscientious coffee experience. "I’m sure most people want to adopt a personality based on their go-to coffee spot but I’m purely looking for consistency. Homecoming holds it down for me whenever I’m in Greenpoint. They also house a small shop-in-shop from local vendors including ceramics, planters, candles, and more." *As recommended by Bernie Gross, Creative Director of Extra Butter
