I am excited to share that we are now accepting applications for our Eighth Annual Autism Can Do Scholarship. We are on a mission to spread happiness and show what people with differing abilities can do. This scholarship celebrates people with autism.
Many of my colleagues at John's Crazy Socks are on the autism spectrum. I see every day how talented and hardworking they are. This scholarship is our way of celebrating them and helping someone on the autism spectrum take the next step in their education.
🥇 First Place: $2,000 — plus your sock design gets produced and sold in our store, with 10% of sales going to autism-related charities
🥈 Second Place: $1,000
This scholarship is co-sponsored by the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, who share our belief in what people with autism can achieve.
To apply, you need to:
✅ Submit a short application form
✅ Write a personal statement
✅ Design a pair of socks — no art skills needed, just your imagination!
The scholarship is open to anyone in the United States who is on the autism spectrum and has graduated high school or is about to graduate.
Applications are due June 30, 2026.
