Hey there,
Happy Earth Day.
I want to take a few minutes today to talk about why we do this, because I think it's worth saying plainly.
When we started Leaf Shave, the premise was simple: the disposable razor industry produces an enormous amount of plastic waste, and it doesn't have to. A well-engineered metal razor lasts decades. The blades are recyclable steel. You can get a better shave and leave less behind. That's the whole idea.
Our Earth Month celebration grew out of that same thinking. We wanted to use April not just to talk about what we believe, but to actually do something. So every year we pick a non-profit partner whose work we genuinely respect, and we put our sales behind it.
Over the years that's meant supporting Bat Conservation International, the Pacific Whale Foundation, the Pollinator Partnership, the Coral Restoration Foundation and National Forest Foundation. This year it's the Juneau Icefield Research Program, a team of scientists who have been conducting glaciological field research on the Juneau Icefield every single summer since 1948. Nearly 80 years of unbroken data that climate scientists around the world depend on.
Our goal is to donate $10,000 for them by April 30. Every Glacier Leaf Two Razor sold this month gets us closer.
I'm proud of what this community has made possible over the years. Earth Day is a good day to say that out loud.
Thanks for being here.

P.S. Everything is 25% off through the end of the month, no code needed. If you've been thinking about it, today's a good day to support the planet with every shave.
