The 2026 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour, presented by Ketel One, kicks off June 19. Bringing a curated selection of shorts from this year’s Fest program to art houses across the country, the tour will feature visionary fiction, nonfiction, and animated works.
Catch award-winning titles like The Boys and the Bees (Short Film Jury Award: Nonfiction), Crisis Actor (Short Film Jury Award: U.S. Fiction), and Living with a Visionary (Short Film Jury Award: Animation), alongside Marga en el DF, Pankaja, and Sauna Sickness. From Black beekeepers and an impulsive drama queen to a pregnant woman navigating unexpected change, these stories capture bold perspectives and feature the voices shaping what’s next in independent film. |

Ready to share your work with the world? Submissions for the 2027 Sundance Film Festival are now open for feature films, short films, and episodic projects. Submit early to take advantage of lower fees, and be sure to review our rules, recommendations, and eligibility requirements before applying. Official deadlines begin in late August, with late deadlines extending through September. |

This four-week live online scriptwriting course offers industry guidance, frameworks, and tools for the next gen of short-form storytellers. Submit your application by July 1.
