Every time we think of launching a spice blend, the big burning question in our meetings is this: Is it truly versatile? Our blends are meant to be used extensively and diversely. So, our Steak Masala is great for steaks, but it’s also so good sprinkled on fried eggs or on a salad. Our Pumpkin Spice makes the best PSL I’ve had, but it also lends itself beautifully to bakes and bevvies. And our Haldi Doodh Masala (or Golden Milk Spice Blend—more on that name later) is perfect for a Golden Milk Latte but there’s so much more to it! I asked our team for their fave ways to use it (watch our cute recipe reel here!) and was blown away:

Haldi Doodh OJ

Glass of freshly-squeezed OJ over ice, and a teaspoon of Haldi Doodh Masala for a kick of immunity-boosting turmeric, ginger and pepper!
Haldi Doodh French Toast

Add a teaspoon or two of Haldi Doodh Masala to your milk and egg mixture, sweeten with a teaspoon of Madhur Jaggery, and whisk! Coat a thick slice of brioche with the mixture and fry in butter until golden brown! Top with seasonal fruits and a drizzle of maple syrup, and dig in!
Haldi Doodh Milk Pudding

Known as kharvas, this steamed milk pudding is a traditional sweet from Maharashtra, a state in the Western coast of India. The recipe typically features full fat milk mixed with jaggery, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg. Replace the last three ingredients with 1-2 teaspoons of Haldi Doodh Masala, add a pinch of saffron, stir and steam until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean! Cool it completely, slice in any shape you want and enjoy!
Savory Haldi Doodh Oatmeal

Salty oats with Haldi Doodh Masala, coconut milk, a little bit of lime powder, and an egg on top. A solid nutritious brekkie!
Haldi Doodh Chickpea Stew

Sauté onion, garlic and ginger, add a can of chickpeas and 1-2 teaspoons of Haldi Doodh Masala and sauté until a lil’ crispy. Add a can of coconut milk along with water or stock and simmer away. Add some greens towards the end and serve with crunchy bread or buttery toast!
Haldi Doodh Dosa

Add a pinch of Haldi Doodh Masala to your dosa batter for a subtle but beautiful golden color.
Haldi Doodh Ginger Tea

This tea is perfect for those stubborn colds that come at this time of year. Boil water with grated ginger and a teaspoon of Haldi Doodh Masala, add a teaspoon of CTC black tea, and sweeten with a teaspoon of honey. Strain the tea into your cup, add a squeeze of lemon, stir and enjoy a cozy and healing bevvy.
Haldi Doodh Seafood Curry

Sauté onions, garlic and ginger, add a can of coconut milk, as big of a bundle of lemongrass as you can find and bring to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons of Haldi Doodh Masala and your 3 inch pieces of white fish fillets or shrimp. Simmer for 5-6 minutes, top with a quick tadka (tempering) of coconut oil, coriander, smashed garlic, and makrut lime leaves if you're feeling fancy! Easiest golden curry ever!
