🍷 WINING: Early June
Why: Early June requires early queues if you want a chance to be seated before rush hour. Before it even opens at 6 p.m., locals and tourists have already made their way to the calm street near Canal Saint Martin for a chance to enjoy contemporary cuisine by traveling chefs who take over the kitchen for a one-off residency. The main focus is for food and wine lovers who enjoy small tasting plates and wine pairing fit for a specific season.

🍝 DINING: Déviant
Why: A whole in the wall spot in the 10e arrondisement, the restaurant is all about the atmosphere. In a space with no windows or walls and just a small open kitchen surrounded by a bar, each item on the menu is well thought out and can be enjoyed easily with just your fingers, a fork or a spoon or just a slice of fresh bread. An ever changing menu features a slew of small plate. But don't be fooled, while the plates offer small bites, nothing about the way it is prepared is simple. Seasonal seafood like small bowls of mussels in celery-peppercorn broth are seasonal but perfect for sharing.
